Lesley Anne Robinson, the knitting pattern designer behind Knit Graffiti Designs. I love to create knitting patterns that focus on modern style with a flair for something different. After graduating from the College for Creative Studies (located in Detroit, Michigan) with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Fiber Design in 2006, I moved to New York City! I spent several years there working as a commercial Interior Designer for Spin Design. I started knitting in college, but in 2015 I began self-publishing my own knitting designs.

Title: Sizzle Pop Workshop :: Two-color Brioche Lace
Description: Satisfy your brioche cravings with modern two-color brioche lace! In this class, we will briefly cover the basics of two-color brioche and working with two different colored yarns. Color theory and advice about choosing the right yarn for your project will be covered as well. The main focus of the class will be learning and working the most commonly-used increases and decreases of brioche knitting to create gorgeous brioche lace fabric. We will be starting my most popular shawl pattern, Sizzle Pop, the triangle version. Together, we will work through the pattern, both written instructions and how to read brioche lace charts. Then you can take it home to continue working on it and have a finished piece that will delight and inspire!
Materials:

32″ long US 4 / 3.5mm circular needles (interchangeables are fine)
Two skeins of fingering / sock weight yarn, at least 400 yds each, in contrasting colors
Notions including tapestry needle, row counter, removable stitch marker or cable needle for decreasing stitches
Optional stitch markers to note lace repeats
Sizzle Pop pattern

Title: Shawl Design Unwrapped
Description: Choose your own shawl adventure!! Have you been knitting for a while, but have some ideas of your own that you’d like to explore? In this class, I will teach several basic shawl shaping techniques so that you can walk away with enough knowledge to pursue your own design dreams! Taught workshop-style, we will go over the most traditional and popular shawl shapes, and then you can choose your favorite to work on for the remainder of class. We will even briefly go over how to apply your favorite stitch patterns within the shawl shaping to create beautifully breath-taking designs!
Materials:
Circular or Interchangeable Needles US3-6
1 skein of yarn in weight of choice in a light,solid color (fingering /sock weight preferable)
optional additional yarn for casting ona full size project?new design (2-3 skeins of fingering weigth in complimenting colors)
optional knitters graph paper for applying lace and cable stitch patterns
