Begins Sunday, January 26 through Sunday March 8 (no class 2/16)

    1:00PM -2:30 PM

Too busy to knit during the week? You can still learn to knit or practice new techniques during this Sunday Afternoon weekly class. If you’re new, we will have you knitting by the end of the first class. If you’ve knit before, this is a great time to get hands-on help or learn a new skill. Pick a small project — a hat, cowl or scarf–and have it finished in time for the holidays. Techniques covered include casting on, knitting, purling, simple increases and decreases, deciphering a pattern, and an introduction to different types of yarn and needles. Lots of tips and all of your questions answered. All materials must be purchased at Do Ewe Knit and may be purchased at the first class.

Note: At least 3 students must be enrolled in order for the class to run.

Advanced Beginner Class: Make Brightfeather by Jenn Steingass / #knitlovewool

    Cost: $85 for 6 weeks

Begins Sunday, January 26 through Sunday March 8 (no class 2/16)

    11:00 AM -12:30 PM

Our next sweater knitting class will focus on colorwork! We will knit Brightfeather by Jenn Steingass, who is known for her simple and beautiful colorwork sweaters. Brightfeather is top-down and seamless, worked in the round in one piece. According to Jenn, this is one of her easiest colorwork charts, and is suitable to beginners and experienced knitters alike. There are many choices for yarn and color combinations too – and the experts at Do Ewe Knit are happy to help select show-stopping combinations!

We will learn a couple of different methods of doing colorwork and review other techniques that are in this sweater, such as German short-rows. You will have plenty of support from your teacher AND your fellow students. All materials must be purchased at Do Ewe Knit and may be purchased at the first class or before. Pattern may be purchased on Ravelry or at Do Ewe Knit through Ravelry pattern purchase.

Note: At least 3 students must be enrolled in order for the class to run.
