TEXTURAL BRIOCHE
Look at knitting a bit differently by exploring different textures created by brioche techniques! In this class, we will dive into several distinct stitch patterns using one, two, and even three color brioche knitting. Together we will look at color choices, and cast on a swatch to practice these new stitches. Consider this a special workshop to broaden your brioche horizons!
Class Length: 3 hours
Type of Class: Skill building hands
Prerequisites: Knowledge of brioche stitches knit flat
Class Skill Level: Intermediate – Advanced. Previous brioche knowledge required. Homework:NONE
Supplies: – 3 full skeins of fingering / sock weight yarn in different tones (at least 400 yards / 366 m in light, medium and dark; I highly suggest solid or semi-solid yarn)- 24” / 61 cm or longer US 4 or 5 / 3.5 or 3.75mm circular needles (interchangeables are fine.

FINISHING & FIXING BRIOCHE
Gain confidence with your brioche knitting by learning how to fix mistakes, pick up dropped stitches, place lifelines, and add those finishing touches to your brioche projects! Feel free to bring any of your brioche projects you might want to fix or finish, or you can sit back and treat this as a lecture! Class Length: 3 hours
Lecture / Hands-on learningMaterial Prerequisites: Knowledge of brioche knitting in any form
Class Skill Level: Intermediate – Advanced. Previous brioche knowledge required. Homework: Bring in a brioche project or swatch, preferably with mistakes or unfinished. Supplies:tapestry needle for weaving ends, crochet hook for picking up dropped stitches, locking stitch markers, 20” length (or longer depending on project) of smooth yarn for adding lifelines.
